I have been a avid birder for as long as I can remember.  I am rarely happier than when outdoors, either on land or at sea looking for birds, cetaceans, invertebrates, or plants and sharing his passion for wildlife with others. I have worked in nature conservation in England for the last 30 years working on species recovery, farm wildlife, farmland birds and helping restore wildlife-rich habitats.

 

I have traveled the world extensively birding and observing many species of seabirds and cetaceans and helping conserve shorebirds including the critically endangered Spoon-billed Sandpiper in China.
