Anno Brandreth
Widnes born environmentalist/earth educator/naturalist, with a long list of experiences and tales of ‘conservation at the cutting edge’, my two great passions in life are music and the natural environment – a graduate of local authority Ranger Services and 10 years delivering Further Education, including
Countryside Management and Tree Surgery and Project Management of two successful HLF schemes travelling the country observing wildlife, with a particular love of mammals, whales, reptiles, birds, and spiders, field archaeology, early History (pre mediaeval) and working with people and communities.
Sharing a house with various large spiders, musical instruments and optical equipment, and never far away from wildlife and the great outdoors.
I presently work for a Local Authority as a Trees and Woodlands Officer within a busy Planning department. A recent personal development over the last few years has been appearances as a guest speaker for Cruise Liners, under the agency Peel Talent. This follows a regular appearance on BBC Radio Merseyside’s popular ‘Naturewatch’ Broadcast on Saturday Mornings as a presenter.
